Municipal Campaign Training for Democrats

This is a municipal campaign training for Democrats running in local elections. It is open to all Democrats. This training is being lead by Eva Bermudez Zimmerman. Ms. Bermudez has years of experience in the trenches of progressive politics. The youngest child of activist parents who migrated from Puerto Rico and settled in Hartford, Bermudez Zimmerman was not quite 2 years old when she became a plaintiff in the landmark Sheff v. O'Neill school desegregation case. She later worked in the favelas of Brazil, served as a congressional intern in Washington, managed a state Senate campaign, served on the legislative council in Newtown, and organized child care workers for the Service Employees International Union.
